  • Outstanding Humanitarian Award to recognize the accomplishments and commitments
    of an individual who demonstrates a passion for youth issues and/or services. The
    nominee must show demonstrated diligence in fostering positive change in the lives of
    young people.
  • Family Hope Award to honor ordinary families making extraordinary strides by
    positively impacting and sowing the lives within their family units as well as those of
    young men and women in the community. Family Hope Award nominees are selected
    based on:
  • a clear set of family rules, values, and benefits
  • a repertoire of coping strategies to deal with stressful life events
  • the ability to be positive and see the good in the lives of each family
    member, including the ability to see crisis and problems as an
    opportunity to grow
  • the ability to communicate with one another in a way that emphasizes
    positive interactions
  • Student Achievement Awards acknowledges the gifts and talents of young people
    who are RAYs of Hope in their school and community. Student Achievement Award
    Nominees are Junior High School through college level students who excel in at least
    one of the following areas:
  • Outstanding academics
  • Outstanding extracurricular activities
  • Outstanding community involvement
  • Extraordinary work in a particular area
